BRAZILIAN CONGRESS ON OPTICAL METROLOGY (CBMO)

The Optical Metrology is the science of measurement that uses light as a basis to measure some quantities, such as length, light intensity, luminous flux, optical power and many other derivatives.

The Brazilian Congress on Optical Metrology is structured in performing sectoral lectures, oral submitted work presentations and a workshop with participants of the Brazilian Lighting Committee (CIE- Brazil).

The event is focused on issues related to Radiometry, Photometry and Colorimetry, Length and Frequency.

Soon, the titles and presenters of the lectures will be announced in addition to the composition of the Technical Committee which will make the selection of works.

Themes for submission of papers:
The papers presented in CBMO will be organized according to the following topics:

Radiometry, Photometry and Colorimetry

  • Measurements of light and radiation
  • Vision and color
  • Lighting
  • Image technology
  • Photonics

Frequency and Length

  • Primary measurements of length and frequency
  • Nanometrology
  • Interferometry
  • Polarimetry

Technical Committee:

The technical committee of the congress will be composed of experts in the fields of optical metrology focused on measurements of length and frequency and radiometry, photometry and colorimetry.
